Ageing of textile by dry heat treatment

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá stárnutím textilií, zejména z hlediska vlivu teploty na jednotlivé materiály. V práci jsou popsány a zkoumány vybrané materiály jak přírodní, tak syntetické. V experimentální části byly materiály vystaveny teplotní expozici po dobu až 27 dní při teplotách 80130 °C. Na všech vzorcích byla měřena pevnost, tažnost a rozměrová stálost a na vybraných vzorcích byla provedena termická analýza, infračervená spektrometrie, elektronová mikroskopie a proměřena barevnost. V závěru práce jsou všechny tyto výsledky popsány a je zde také nastíněná možná predikce stárnutí.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the ageing of textiles, with the focus on the influence of the temperature on different textile fabrics. Chosen natural and synthetic materials are described and analyzed. In the experimental part, materials were exposed to the temperature from 80 to 130 °C up to 27 days. Stronghold, tensibility and dimensional consistency were measured on all samples. On chosen samples thermal analysis, infra-red spectrometry, electron microscopy and colorfulness measurement was performed. Results of the research are described in the conclusion and the conjecture of the ageing is outlined.
