Creation of Internal Accounting Rules in a Company

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce na téma „Tvorba vnitropodnikových účetních směrnic ve vybrané společnosti“ je zhodnocení teoretických východisek pro tvorbu vnitropodnikových účetních směrnic v podnikatelské činnosti z pohledu českých účetních předpisů a Mezinárodních standardů účetního výkaznictví, analýza aktuálního stavu vnitropodnikových účetních směrnic v konkrétní firmě zpracovaných podle českých účetních předpisů a zpracování návrhu nových vnitropodnikových účetních směrnic v souladu s Mezinárodními standardy účetního výkaznictví. První část práce je zaměřena na význam vnitropodnikových směrnic v účetní jednotce, popsán postup jejich tvorby a provedena analýza platné legislativy ve zkoumané oblasti. V další části se dostáváme k popisu prostředí Mezinárodních standardů účetního výkaznictví a konkrétní specifikaci vybraných standardů. Následně je v rámci praktické části provedena analýza současných vnitropodnikových směrnic účetní jednotky zpracovaných podle českých účetních předpisů, vyhodnocen vliv Mezinárodních standardů účetního výkaznictví na současné směrnice, a na základě teoretických poznatků zpracován návrh nových vnitropodnikových účetních směrnic v souladu s Mezinárodními standardy účetního výkaznictví.

Abstract:

The subject of the diploma thesis “Creation of Internal Accounting Rules in the Company” is to evaluate the theoretical basis for the creation of internal accounting rules in business activity from the perspective of Czech accounting regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards, analysis of the current status of internal accounting rules, and the preparation of new internal accounting rules in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards. The first part is focused on the importance of internal rules in the accounting entity, description of the procedure of their creation and analysis of the applicable legislation in the area. The next part describes the environment of International Financial Reporting Standards and the specification of selected standards. Subsequently, the practical part is prepared by analysis of the current internal rules of the accounting entity in accordance with Czech accounting regulations, the impact of International Financial Reporting Standards on the current directives is evaluated, and based on theoretical knowledge the proposal of the new internal accounting rules are prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
