International comparison of eligibility conditions for old-age pensions in EU countries

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je mezinárodní srovnání podmínek nároku na přiznání starobního důchodu v zemích EU. Teoretická část bude věnována systému sociálního zabezpečení v ČR, historii a definici starobního důchodu. Poskytne stručný přehled týkající se penzijní reformy v u nás, kvantitativní aspekt na penzijní systém v ČR a současné podmínky pro přiznání starobního důchodu. Další část práce bude věnována například podmínkám nároku na přiznání starobního důchodu v zemích EU, problematiku pobírání důchodu v zemích EU, podmínkám získání starobního důchodu ze zahraničí a poskytne konkrétní pohled na penzijní systém v Anglii a v Irsku. Cílem komparativní analýzy je porovnat stávající podmínky nároku na přiznání starobního důchodu v ČR, Anglii a v Irsku, provedením sekundární analýzy dostupných zdrojů z odborné literatury, legislativy, statistických údajů apod. a uvést hlavní rozdíly mezi nimi.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is an international comparison of the conditions of entitlement to old-age pension in the EU countries. The theoretical part will be devoted to the social security system in the Czech Republic, the history and definition of old-age pension. It will provide a brief overview of the pension reform in the Czech Republic, a quantitative aspect on the pension system in the Czech Republic and the current conditions for granting the old-age pension. The next part of the paper will be devoted, for example, to the conditions of eligibility for old-age pensions in EU countries, the problems of receiving a pension in EU countries, the conditions of obtaining an old-age pension from abroad and will provide a specific view of the pension system in England and Ireland. The aim of the comparative analysis is to compare the current conditions of entitlement to an old-age pension in the Czech Republic, England and Ireland, by carrying out a secondary analysis of available sources of literature, legislation, statistical data, etc., and to indicate the main differences between them.
