Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou cizího akcentu u nerodilých mluvčích českého jazyka a zkoumá jím způsobené sociální stigma v ČR. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a analytickou. Teoretická část se věnuje popisu metodiky výzkumu, uvádí hypotézy, definuje relevantní pojmy a v neposlední řadě zmiňuje data k současné situaci počtu cizinců v ČR a problematiku jejich diskriminace. Analytická část prezentuje data získaná k postoji českých rodilých mluvčích k cizincům při výkonu různých pracovních pozic. Kromě souhrnných dat jsou uvedeny také výsledná data rozdělená dle věku, dle zkušenosti s cizinci ovládajícími češtinu a také dle pohlaví respondentů. Výsledky výzkumu ukazují, pro výkon kterých povolání je přítomnost cizího akcentu nevýhodou a zda se jeho vnímání rodilými mluvčími liší podle mateřského jazyka autora projevu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the question of a foreign accent among non-native speakers of the Czech language and examines the social stigma caused by it in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into a theoretical and an analytical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of the research methodology, presents hypotheses, defines relevant terms and, last but not least, mentions data on the current situation of the number of foreigners in the Czech Republic and the issue of their discrimination. The analytical part presents the data obtained on the attitude of Czech native speakers towards foreigners when performing various job positions. In addition to summary data, the resulting data are also presented, divided by age, by experience with foreigners who speak Czech, and also by gender of the respondents. The results of the research show which occupations the presence of a foreign accent is a disadvantage for and whether its perception by native speakers differs depending on the native language of the speaker.
