The dim of my Bachelor work is the comparison of the novel Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse and the film of the same name by Conrad Rooks. This comparison happens in several levels. Cílem této bakalářské práce je srovnání knihy Siddhartha od Hermanna Hesseho a stejnojmenného filmu od Conrada Rookse. Toto srovnání probíhá hned na několika úrovních. Nejprve se tato práce zabývá životem obou tvůrců a možnými vlivy na jejich díla, následně také dobou vzniku obou děl.
