Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na analýzu efektivity motivačního systému v podniku T-Mobile Czech Republic a její propojení s výkonností a spokojeností zaměstnanců. Motivace pracovníků je v současném soutěživém prostředí jedním z hlavních rysů ovlivňujících úspěch podniku. Cílem práce je posoudit efektivitu jednotlivých motivačních prostředků, zjistit jejich vnímanou hodnotu ze strany pracovníků a doporučit opatření, která mohou vést ke zlepšení pracovního výkonu a menší fluktuace zaměstnanců. Teoretická část práce sumarizuje základní stanoviska k motivaci, představuje klíčové motivační teorie, rozlišuje typy motivace a popisuje strukturu a hodnocení motivačních systémů. Praktická část je založena na dotazníkovém šetření mezi zaměstnanci centrály vybrané společnosti, přičemž získaná data jsou pak zpracována pomocí metody koeficientu významu pořadí (KVP), která umožňuje kvantifikovat významnost jednotlivých stimulů. Výsledky zkoumání poukazují na oblasti, kde motivační systém funguje efektivně a zaměstnanci jsou spokojeni, a naopak odhalují slabá místa vyžadující změnu. Na základě těchto zjištění jsou vyjádřena určitá doporučení. Práce tak může sloužit jako podklad pro strategické rozhodování v oblasti řízení lidských zdrojů a pomoc HR oddělení se zlepšením a efektivitou motivačního systému.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on analyzing the effectiveness of the motivation system at T-Mobile Czech Republic and its connection to employee performance and satisfaction. Employee motivation is one of the key factors influencing a company’s success in today’s competitive environment. The aim of the thesis is to assess the effectiveness of individual motivational tools, determine their perceived value from the employees’ perspective, and recommend measures that could lead to improved work performance and reduced employee turnover. The theoretical part summarizes the fundamental concepts of motivation, introduces key motivational theories, distinguishes between different types of motivation, and describes the structure and evaluation of motivation systems. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey conducted among employees at the company’s headquarters, with the collected data analyzed using the coefficient of significance order (KVP) method, which allows the quantification of the importance of individual stimuli. The research results highlight areas where the motivation system works effectively and employees are satisfied, as well as areas requiring improvement. Based on these findings, specific recommendations are proposed. The thesis can therefore serve as a basis for strategic decision-making in human resource management and as a tool to help the HR department enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s motivation system.
