Lidské indukované pluripotentní kmenové buňky (hiPSCs) mohou být v laboratoři vytvořeny z buněk tkání dospělého jedince. Zároveň mohou být diferencovány do zvoleného buněčného typu. Human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) can be induced from tissues of an adult. They can also be differentiated into chosen cell type. Therefore, they possess great potential for application in both scientific research and medicine. To be used, it is of utmost importance for them to maintain their genomic integrity.
