The thesis is focused on the possibilities of Integrated Thematic Instruction (ITI): The model used in the 1st grade of elementary schools. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts, summarises the existing solutions and findings, and discusses the issues of didactic processing of the school curriculum according to the ITI model.
