Interlingual interference of Eastern Slavs living in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na problematiku mezijazykové interference a bilingvismu. Uvádí jejich obecnou typologii i příčiny vzniku. Bilingvismus je prozkoumán jak z té pozitivní stránky tak i z té negativní, uvádí také výhody bilingvismu i jejich potíže. Vzhledem k tomu, že na cestě k osvojení českého jazyka ruskojazyčný cizinec nachází několik úskalí, které je opodstatněno genetickou příbuzností českého a ruského jazyka, jsou uvedeny nejčastější chyby ruskojazyčných cizinců i způsoby jejich překonání. Kromě těchto jevů je zasaženo i téma rusko-české homonymie s příklady " falešných přátel překladatele", je poukázáno na podobné napsání slov ve dvou jazycích i na jejich odlišný význam. Význam bakalářské práce je v přiblížení problematiky výuky cizího jazyka a poukázání na nejčastější chyby, kterých se mohou lidé dopouštět v cizím jazyce, a rady, jak se vyvarovat negativních jazykových vlivů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on problems of interference between languages and bilingualism. It sets out their general typology and causes of their origin. The bilingualism is explored both from the positive side and so from the negative one; the thesis also shows the bilingual advantages and its difficulties as well. Due to the fact that a Russian-speaking foreigner finds several pitfalls on the way to acquiring Czech language, that are substantiated by genetic relations of the Czech and Russian languages, there are the most common mistakes of Russian-speaking foreigners presented and are also presented ways of overcoming them. Apart from these phenomena, the thesis also deals with the topic of Russian-Czech homonymy with examples of false translators' friends; there is pointed out a similar words writing in both languages and their different meaning. The importance of the bachelor thesis is to adumbrate foreign language teaching issues and to warn of most common mistakes that people are able to make in a foreign language and to give advice on how to eschew negative language phenomena.
