Abstract:

Abstrakt Předkládaná diplomová práce „Vliv společenské odpovědnosti firem na zvýšení jejich konkurenceschopnosti“ si klade za cíl na základě provedené rešerše teoretických poznatků k tématu diplomové práce provést analýzu uplatňování CSR ve firemní praxi vybrané firmy. Jde o téma, které je mimořádně aktuální a ve společenské a ekonomické praxi současnosti významně frekventované. V teoretické části jsou popsána k dané problematice základní teoretická východiska, a to samotné pojetí CSR a jeho vývoj, ale i o pravidla, normy a postupy uplatňování společenské odpovědnosti firem. Významná pozornost je zde věnována konceptu CSR jako fenoménu, který vnáší do hodnocení firem multikriteriální přístup, a to z hlediska zajišťování konkurenceschopnosti firem. Práce se ve své praktické části věnuje analýze konkrétních způsobů uplatňování konceptu CSR, a to na příkladu firem potravinářského průmyslu včetně hodnocení spojitosti daného konceptu s potřebným zvyšováním konkurenceschopnosti firem. Formuluje přitom mimo jiné i pojetí souvztažnosti CSR s ekonomickým vývojem firmy, které ukazuje, že společenská odpovědnost je důležitá zejména ze společenského vnímání, goodwillu firmy, a zprostředkovaně tak ovlivňuje i samotnou její ekonomickou výkonnost resp. konkurenceschopnost.

Abstract:

Abstract The submitted diploma thesis “The Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Increasing the Competitiveness” aims to analyze the implementation of CSR in business practices of a chosen firm based on the conducted research of theoretical findings for the thesis topic. This is an issue of exceptional topicality and meaningfully frequent in social and economic practice. The theoretical part describes the basic theoretical foundations to the given issue both in terms of the very concept of CSR and its development as well as the rules, standards and procedures for the application of corporate social responsibility. The considerable attention is devoted to CSR concept as a phenomenon which brings a multi-criteria approach to the evaluation of companies, in terms of ensuring their competitiveness. In the practical part the work deals with the analysis of particular ways of application of CSR concept, namely on the example of food industry companies, including evaluation of the concept continuity with necessary increase of competitiveness of firms. Besides other things it expresses such a concept of CSR correlated with economic development of the firm which shows that social responsibility is important mainly in terms of social perception of the firm, its goodwill and in that way it indirectly influences its own economic performance or rather its competitiveness.
