Positive effects of difficult life events

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem Pozitivní důsledky těžkých životních událostí pojednává ?o pozitivních ziscích rodičů dětí s mentálním postižením. V práci je popsán proces posttraumatického rozvoje, je zde podrobně pojednáno o problematice mentálního postižení ?a o situaci rodičů dětí s tímto postižením. Dále se zabývá oblastmi, ve kterých nejčastěji dochází k posttraumatickému rozvoji. V empirické části práce je pak zpracován výzkum, který formou rozhovoru s rodiči, jimž se narodilo dítě s mentálním postižením, zkoumá, do jaké míry jsou platné teoretické závěry vyplývající z první části práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis with the title Positive effects of difficult live events is about positive effects of parents with handicapped child. This thesis gives a detailed description of process of posttraumatic-growth, problems of mental disability and situation of parents of child with this handicap. It deals with spheres, wherein take place posttraumatic-growth the most often. In the practical part it is composed study of interview with parents, who has a child with mental disability. It reflects adaptation of family to the situation and issue of upbringing and care of disability child. Results of study indicate extent of validity theoretical conclusion, which is implied in the theoretical part of this thesis.
