The diploma thesis deals with mechanical aids in indirect cardiac massage in pre-hospital emergency care. It contains a theoretical, and empirical part. The theoretical part describes the role and competencies of the paramedic in cardiopulmonary resuscitacion, the producers of extended emergency resuscitacion and the benefits and risks of using mechanical aids used for indirect cardiac massage.
