Graduates in the labor market

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zasvěcena problematice postavení a uplatnění absolventů na trhu práce a jejím základním cílem je charakterizovat trh práce a nástup absolventu po ukončení studia a jejich úspěšnost při aktivním zapojení na pracovní trh. Součástí práce je také řešení problematiky nezájmu zaměstnavatelů zaměstnat absolventy bez předešlé praxe. Nejprve jsou v rámci teoretické části této práce představena teoretická východiska práce, která zahrnují zejména pojem pracovního trhu, subjekty utvářející pracovní trh a další související základní pojmy. Poté je v rámci kapitoly druhé blíže vymezena problematika nezaměstnanosti, druhy nezaměstnanosti a dále pak také možnosti jejího řešení prostřednictvím nástrojů politiky zaměstnanosti. V rámci kapitoly třetí je vymezeno specifické postavení skupiny absolventů vysokých škol na trhu práce, je zde krátce vymezena aktuální podobě tuzemského vysokého školství, dále je představen profil absolventa vysoké školy, specificky je pozornost věnována uplatnění absolventů vysokých škol na trhu práce. V rámci praktické části této bakalářské práce jsou prezentovány výsledky provedeného primárního šetření mezi vybraným vzorkem respondentů, který zahrnoval a stávajících studenty třetích ročníků bakalářských a magisterských studijních programů Slezské univerzity v Opavě, jak již bylo zmíněno. V závěru práce jsou následně veškeré zjištěné poznatky shrnuty.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is devoted to the issue of the position and employment of graduates in the labor market and its basic goal is to characterize the labor market and the entry of graduates after graduation and their success in active participation in the labor market. Part of the work is also a solution to the problem of lack of interest of employers to employ graduates without previous experience. First, the theoretical part of this work presents the theoretical basis of the work, which includes in particular the concept of the labor market, the entities shaping the labor market and other related basic concepts. Then, in the second chapter, the issue of unemployment is defined in more detail, the types of unemployment and then also the possibilities of its solution through the instruments of employment policy. The third chapter defines the specific position of the group of university graduates in the labor market, the current form of domestic higher education is briefly defined, the profile of university graduates is presented, specific attention is paid to the employment of university graduates in the labor market and finally specific characteristics of graduates of the Faculty of Public Policy of the Silesian University in Opava. The practical part of this bachelor’s thesis present the result of a primary servey of selected sample of respondents, which included current students of third years of bachelor’s and master’s degree programs at the Silesian University in Opava, as already mentioned. At the end of the work, all the findings are summarized.
