Discount Portals and Their Influence on the Promotion of Small Businesses

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem vlivu a využitelnosti slevových portálů v malých a středních podnicích provozujících únikové hry. Zaměřuje se na možnost propagace a podpory prodeje skrze tyto portály. Práce objasňuje způsob využívání slevových portálů ze strany provozovatelů únikových her a strategie používání slevových portálů jako marketingového nástroje. Analyzuje klady a zápory inzerce na těchto portálech a jejich vnímaní ze strany zákazníků. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části je přiblížena teorie marketingového mixu, slevové portály jako marketingový nástroj, popsán segment únikových her a definovány základní pojmy. V praktické části je popsána analýza způsobu využívání slevových portálů. Data, která byla použita pro analýzu, vychází z vlastního provedeného kvantitativního šetření. Práce poskytuje aktuální data a analýzu situace vlivu slevových portálů na podniky s únikovými hrami v českém prostředí tak, aby bylo možné další praktické využití a vytváření vlastní marketingové strategie v tomto segmentu.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of the influence and usability of discount portals in small and medium-sized companies operating escape games. It focuses mainly on the possibility of promotion and sales support through these portals. The work clarifies the way of using discount portals by escape game operators and the strategy of using discount portals as a marketing tool. The work analyse the pluses and minuses of advertising on these portals and their perception by customers. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part introduces the theory of the marketing mix, discount portals as a marketing tool, describes the segment of escape games and defines the basic concepts. In the practical part there is an analysis of the use of discount portals. The data used for the analysis are based on our own quantitative survey. The work provides current data and analysis of the situation of the impact of discount portals on companies with escape games in the Czech environment so that further practical use and creation of their own marketing strategy in this segment can be done.
