Skiagrafy examination of the lower limb

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce Skiagrafické vyšetření dolní končetiny se zabývá diagnostickým vyšetřením skiagrafií, rentgenovým zářením, jeho vznikem, fyzikální podstatou a ochranou před riziky spojené s ozářením. Také pojednává o významném objevu nového druhu záření a jeho objeviteli Wilhelmu Conradu Röntgenovi. Další část je věnována anatomii dolní končetiny, přípravou pacienta k rentgenovému vyšetření a standardními projekcemi dolní končetiny. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na statistický průzkum dat z nemocničního archivního systému zaměřený na projekci kolene. Cílem této práce je získat počet pacientů, kteří toto vyšetření podstoupí, zjistit nejčastější věkovou skupinou pacientů, kterým bylo koleno vyšetřeno. Porovnat příčinu proč vyšetření podstoupili, jestli byli oběťmi úrazu, či šlo o diagnostiku funkční vady, a zjistit zda se v Bohunické nemocnici v době průzkumu vyšetřilo více pacientů prvním snímáním či šlo o kontrolní snímek.

Abstract:

The thesis "Skiagraphy examination of the lower limb" deals with diagnostical examination of skiagraphy, x-radiation, its origin, physical essence and protection from the risks related to radiation. It also discusses a significant discovery of a new kind of radiation and its discoverer Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen. The next part is dedicated to the anatomy of lower limb, patient preparation to the x-Rey examination and standard lower limb screening. The practical part focuses on statistical research of hospital archive data which is aimed at the screening of knee. The aim of the thesis is to get a certain number of patients, who underwent this examination and find the most frequent age group of patients with knee examination. Also compare the reasons why they underwent the procedure, find out whether they were victims of an injury or whether it was a diagnosis of a functional defect and find out whether in The University Hospital Brno during the research there were more patients with the first screening or with control screening.
