The Development of Primary School in Ohrazenice between 1869 and 1953 with a Perspective to the Present

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá vývojem základní školy v Ohrazenici od jejího založení až po r. 1953, kdy byla postavena nová školní budova, která převzala většinu výuky na zdejší škole. Postavení školní budovy v obci Ohrazenice bylo důležité nejen pro obec samotnou, ale i pro obce blízké, ze kterých děti chodily pěšky do školy v Rosicích nad Labem nebo do Kunětic, což bylo hlavně v zimních měsících velmi náročné. Práce se snaží zachytit vliv střídajících se politických režimů na dění ve škole, významné postavy, které ovlivnily vývoj školy a události, které se v tomto období odehrály a byly pro školní klima důležité. Z práce je patrné, že ve vedení školy vždy působili lidé, kteří měli zájem o rozkvět samotné školy, ale i komunikace se širším okolím a nešlo tedy o izolovanou jednotku v obci. Součástí diplomové práce je také pohled do současnosti, kdy byla původní školní budova prodána a stalo se z ní soukromé stomatologické centrum.

Abstract:

This paper is concentrated on the development of Primary School in Ohrazenice from its foundation to the year of 1953 when the new school building was constructed. The new building took charge of most of classes. The construction of the school building in the village of Ohrazenice was important not only for the village itself but also for villages situated nearby. Those children from near surroundings walked to schools in Rosice nad Labem or Kunětice, which was especially in winter very physically demanding. I am trying to comprehend the impact of the different political regimes on the course of events in the school, the events which were taking place there in that stage and were important for school atmosphere, and oustanding persons that influenced the development of the school. It is obvious that there were always persons in the lead that were interested in the development of the school. In addition to that they communicated with other inhabitans therefore the school never was an isolated unit in the willage. The part of this dissertation is also a look at the present when the original school building was sold and became a private dental centre.
