Methods of conducting communication in a crisis situation with regard to legal aspects and the effects of the behavioral actions of individual parties

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá metodami vedení komunikace v krizovém období s popisem možných využití lidských práv podle Listiny základních práv a svobod. V první části jsou vysvětleny pojmy verbální a neverbální komunikace. Dále je součástí také samotná krizová komunikace, jelikož se jedná o specifickou formu sociální komunikace a také o nástroj krizového řízení. Část práce je i popis krize a pohled na krizové situace z pohledu oběti a z pohledu velitele zásahu. Bakalářská práce nevynechává kapitolu zaměřující se na behaviorální jednání ovlivňující celý průběh komunikace a metod vedení úspěšné komunikace. Zaměřuje se na asertivní chování a popis určitých doporučení, které zajišťují komunikaci bez rušivých elementů. Na základě dotazníkového šetření složeného z otázek pro veřejnost, je vyhodnoceno povědomí o krizových situacích a zhodnocení připravenosti obyvatel České republiky na zmíněné výjimečné události. Na základě zjištěných poznatků je v praktické části navrhnuto opatření, které pomůže zvýšit efektivitu krizové komunikace v období krize.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with methods of crisis communication management, including a description of possible applications of human rights according to the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms. The first part explains the concepts of verbal and nonverbal communication. Additionally, crisis communication is an integral part of the thesis since it is a specific form of social communication and a tool for crisis management. The thesis also includes a section on crisis and views crisis situations from the perspective of both victims and intervention commanders. The thesis does not omit a chapter focusing on behavioral actions that affect the entire course of communication and methods of leading successful communication. It focuses on assertive behavior and describes certain recommendations that ensure communication without disruptive elements. Based on a public survey composed of questions for the general population, awareness of crisis situations and an evaluation of the preparedness of the inhabitants of the Czech Republic for such exceptional events is evaluated. Based on the findings, measures are proposed in the practical part of the thesis to help increase the effectiveness of crisis communication during a crisis period.
