Visual Identity of a Fresh Bar

Abstract:

Teoretická část diplomové práce zkoumá vztah udržitelnosti a grafického designu. Definuje základní pojmy spojené s touto problematikou, následně se zaměřuje na negativní dopady grafického designu na životní prostředí. Při popisu dílčích částí, které jsou součástí projektu grafického designéra, uvádí stěžejní otázky, které se k enviromentálnímu přístupu vztahují a které je nutné si klást. Navrhuje také řešení, která při správné aplikaci znamenají udržitelný přístup k práci. Práce rovněž prezentuje průkopníky v tomto oboru a oblasti jejich specifického výzkumu. V praktické části práce jsou základní principy udržitelného designu uvedeny do praxe při tvorbě vizuálního stylu fresh baru.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is focused on the relationship between sustainability and graphics design. The author defines the basic principles of the topic with emphasis on the negative impact of graphics design towards environment. In parallel with outlined sections of design project crucial issues of environment and sustainability emerge. This thesis suggests possible solutions, once these are used in an appropriate application results in the sustainable approach. The thesis is also focused on innovators in this subject. In the practical part author used some of presented approaches of sustainable design in her own project, the creation of visual style for fresh bar.
