Education of children with a mental handicap focused on a healthy lifestyle

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zjištění, zda lze zvýšit efektivitu edukace dětí s lehkým mentál-ním postižením ke zdravému životnímu stylu prostřednictvím deskové hry Cepíkova dob-rodružství. V úvodní části jsou zpracovány teoretické poznatky a výklad pojmů: zdraví v návaznosti na zdravý životní styl, typy vzdělávání, mentální postižení, edukace mentálně postižených jedinců, rámcový vzdělávací program, podpůrná opatření. Praktická část se zabývá výzkumným šetřením. Na začátku šetření byl udělán s dětmi roz-hovor se zjištěním znalostí o zdravém životním stylu. V rámci výzkumného šetření byla použita desková hra Cepíkova dobrodružství, která je zaměřena v rámci jednotlivých her-ních plánů na zdravé potraviny, pohyb, pitný režim a spojení potravin s přírodou. Výsledky ročního intervenčního výzkumu by nám měly dát odpověď na výzkumnou otázku, zdali je konkrétní typ deskové hry vhodný pro tento stupeň mentálního postižení a jestli je možné jej zařadit do běžné výuky na základních školách praktických.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to determine whether it is possible to increase the effectiveness of education of children with mild mental disabilities to a healthy lifestyle through the board game Cepík's Adventures. The introductory part deals with theoretical knowledge and interpretation of concepts: he-alth in relation to a healthy lifestyle, types of education, mental disabilities, education of mentally handicapped individuals, framework educational program, support measures. The practical part deals with research. At the beginning of the survey, the children were interviewed to find out about a healthy lifestyle. As part of the research survey, the board game Cepík's Adventures was used, which is focused on healthy foods, exercise, drinking regime and the connection of food with nature within the framework of individual game plans. The results of the annual intervention research should give us the answer to the re-search question whether a particular type of board game is suitable for this degree of men-tal disability and whether it is possible to include it in regular teaching at practical elemen
