Changes in Czech theater for young audiences

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice divadel pro mládež v Česku. Práce přibližuje jak počátky a rozvoj tohoto divadelního odvětví po 2. sv. válce, tak nabízí i vhled do současné situace na území České republiky a přináší přehled scén, které vhodně pracují s dospívajícím publikem. Pozornost je věnovaná i novým inscenačním postupům a tématům her pro mládež a doplňujícím aktivitám divadel. Rovněž je zde poskytnut prostor pro srovnání české divadelní scény se scénou zahraniční, kde je v posledních několika letech tomuto oboru věnováno hodně pozornosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the issue of theatre for teenagers in the Czech Republic. The work provides an overview of the beginnings and development of this theater sector after World War II, as well as an insight into the current situation in our country, and provides an overview of scenes that work with teenage audiences. Attention is also paid to new staging procedures, themes of plays and complementary activities of theaters. There is also room for comparing the Czech theater scene with the scene abroad, where a lot of attention has been paid to this field in the last few years.
