Abstract:

Fajtová, A. Kvalita zveřejňovaných informací v závěrkách společností sestavených v souladu s IAS/IFRS vzhledem k relevanci informací pro rozhodování uživatelů. Diplomová práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2020.Předmětem diplomové práce je posouzení kvality a rozsahu publikovaných informací v účetních závěrkách společností sestavených v souladu s IAS/IFRS požadavky. Jsou zde zkoumány společnosti kótované na vídeňské a rakouské burze, pro které je sestaven nevážený index zveřejnění prostřednictvím dvou metod (metody dichotomické a metody částečné shody). Hodnota neváženého indexu je zkoumána prostřednictvím OLS modelu v závislosti na proměnných zisk, velikost, typ auditní společnosti, cizí zdroje a odvětví. Pro vybrané standardy je provedeno dotazníkové šetření mezi potenciálními uživateli účetních závěrek a sestaven modifikovaný vážený index zveřejnění.

The quality of the information disclosed in the financial statements of companies prepared in accordance with IAS/IFRS while considering the relevance of the information for users' decisions. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2020.The subject of this diploma thesis is the assessment of the quality and scope of information published in the financial statements of companies and prepared in accordance with IAS/IFRS requirements. Here examined are companies listed on the Vienna and Austrian stock exchanges, for which an unweighted disclosure index is compiled using two methods (the dichotomous method and the partial compliance method). An unweighted index value is examined using the OLS model which depends on the following variables: profit, size, type of an audit firm, lever-age and industry. For selected standards, a questionnaire survey is conducted among potential users of financial statements and a modified weighted disclosure index is compiled.
