The Influence of Safety Situation on Visitors' Behaviour (Outbound Tourism)

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá v současnosti aktuálním tématem bezpečnosti a jejím vlivem na spotřebitelské chování ve výjezdovém cestovním ruchu. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, které skutečnosti ohrožující bezpečnost ovlivňují rozhodování účastníků cestovního ruchu při výběru a následném uskutečnění jejich dovolené. Za tímto účelem bylo provedeno dotazníkové šetření pro respondenty z České republiky, kteří cestují do zahraničí. V teoretické části jsou definovány jednotlivé pojmy dané problematiky a zmíněny dosavadní poznatky výzkumů na toto téma. V praktické části jsou rozebrány výsledky jednotlivých otázek dotazníkového šetření, zaměřující se na bezpečnostní okolnosti výběru destinace a rizikové chování návštěvníků v destinaci. Závěrečná kapitola shrnuje nejvýznamnější poznatky plynoucí z výzkumu a zmiňuje možné důsledky pro marketing destinace.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the current topic of safety and security and its influence on the consumer behaviour in outbound tourism. The aim of the thesis is to find out, which factors threatening the safety of tourists have an impact on their decision-making processes, including a choice of destination and subsequently the realization of their holiday. For that purpose, a questionnaire survey was made aiming at the respondents from the Czech Republic who travel abroad. In theoretical part, terms relevant to the topic are defined and the knowledge from previous researches is mentioned. There is an analysis of the results of each question of the research in the practical part. These questions are focused on the safety and security factors of the destination choice and tourists’ risk behaviour in destination. The final chapter sums up the most important findings of the research and suggests possible consequences for the destination marketing.
