Mezoprostředí a makroprostředí podniků působících ve vybraném odvětví

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku externího podnikového prostředí, které zahrnuje mezoprostředí a obecné makroprostředí zkoumaného odvětví. Za účelem řešení tohoto tématu bylo zanalyzováno odvětví farmaceutického průmyslu se specifikací na prodej léčiv a zdravotnických potřeb. K posouzení konkurenčních sil a prvků, které mohou mít zásadní vliv na podniky působící ve zvoleném odvětví, byly použity tři analýzy – analýza konkurence, finanční analýza a PEST analýza. Výsledky analýz odhalily vzájemnou souvislost mezi prováděnými metodami a Porterovo modelem pěti sil. Na základě použitých přístupů bylo zjištěno, že nejvýznamnějšími prvky makroprostředí tohoto odvětví jsou politické a ekonomické faktory. Mezoprostředí zkoumaného odvětví je nejvýznamněji ovlivněno vyjednávací silou dodavatelů a odběratelů. Naproti tomu síla, která nejméně ovlivňuje zkoumané odvětví je hrozba substitutů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the external corporate environment, which includes the meso environment and the general macro environment of the industry under study. In order to address this topic, the pharmaceutical industry was analysed with a specification on the sale of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies. Three analyses - competitive analysis, financial analysis and PEST analysis - were used to assess the competitive forces and elements that may have a major impact on the companies operating in the selected industry. The results of the analyses revealed a correlation between the methods conducted and Porter's five forces model. Based on the approaches used, it was found that political and economic factors are the most important elements of the macro environment of the industry. The meso environment of the industry under study is most significantly influenced by the bargaining power of suppliers and buyers. In contrast, the force that least affects the sector under investigation is the threat of substitutes.
