Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá skupinovou prací v hodinách angličtiny na české střední škole. Konkrétně se práce soustředí na jednu učitelku a způsoby, jakými zadává skupinovou práci. Cílem práce je zodpovědět dvě výzkumné otázky: Jak učitelka zadává skupinovou práci? Nad čím učitelka uvažuje během zadávání skupinové práce? Teoretická část práce se zabývá skupinovou prací a shrnuje poznatky odborné literatury na toto téma. Praktická část práce se snaží zodpovědět výzkumné otázky, k čemuž jsou použity metody konverzační analýzy a zakotvené teorie. Konverzační analýza je aplikovaná na data sesbíraná během 3 vyučovacích hodin (celkem vzniklo 619 řádků) a zakotvená teorie je aplikovaná na 3 rozhovory vedené metodou následného interview (stimulated recall; z rozhovorů byly pořízeny záznamy v délce přes 4 hodiny a přepisy těchto rozhovorů čítaly na 27 stran).

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with group work in English lessons at a Czech upper-secondary school. Specifically, the thesis focuses on one teacher and the ways in which she assigns group work. The aim of the thesis is to answer two research questions: How does the teacher establish group work? What does the teacher think about when establishing group work? The theoretical part of the thesis deals with group work and summarizes the findings of the literature on this topic. The empirical part of the thesis tries to answer the research questions, for which the methods of conversation analysis and grounded theory are used. Conversation analysis is applied to data collected during 3 lessons (which resulted in total of 619 lines) and the grounded theory is applied to 3 interviews conducted by the method of stimulated recall (over 4 hours of data were recorded during these interviews and they were transcribed to 27 pages of text).
