Impact of financial crisis concerned to the public sector/finance in Slovak republic

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the impact of financial crisis on the public sector in the Slovak Republic. Definition and characteristics of the concepts of economic theory, which forms the basis for successful management of public revenue and public expenditure within the state budget in the work has been analized specific causes of increase of public expedinture. We will define the area of government failure, which may also have a major impact on state expenses from the state budget and therefore increasing unnecessarly government deficit. In this labor we analyze the legislative steps which were implemented in order to eliminate the effects of financial crisis. The analytical part will focus on indicators of unemployment, government bonds and the effective use of funds from the European Union. Aim of the thesis will propose optimal options to reduce the public deficit with regard to the indicators which has been deeply analyzed.

Abstract:

Cieľom diplomovej práce je analyzovať vplyv finančnej krízy na stav verejného sektora v Slovenskej republike. Vymedzením a charakteristikou pojmov ekonomickej teórie, ktorá tvorí základ úspešného riadenia verejných príjmov a verejných výdavkov v rámci štátneho rozpočtu v práci hlbšie analyzujeme príčiny nárastu verejných výdavkov. Definujeme oblasti vládneho zlyhávania, ktoré taktiež môžu mať zásadný vplyv na stav výdavkov zo štátneho rozpočtu a tým zbytočné zvyšovanie deficitu verejných financií. V práci budeme analyzovať legislatívne kroky, ktoré boli zrealizované s cieľom eliminácie následkov finančnej krízy. V analytickej časti sa zameriame na ukazovatele nezamestnanosti, emisie štátnych dlhopisov a efektivite využívania finančných prostriedkov z Európskej únie. Cieľom práce bude navrhnutie optimálnych možností znižovania verejného deficitu vzhľadom k analyzovaným ukazovateľom.
