Impact of overweight and obesity older school-age

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku vlivu nadváhy a obezity na plosku nohy u dětí staršího školního věku. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny nejdůležitější pojmy týkající se daného tématu. Výzkumná část zahrnuje výsledky šetření, jehož cílem bylo zjistit stav plochonoží u dětí staršího školního věku v závislosti na nadváze či obezitě. Pomocí somatometrických metod bylo u dětí stanoveno BMI, dle plantogramů s použitím metody Chippaux-Šmiřák byl zjištěn index plochonoží. V rámci diplomové práce byl vytvořen preventivní program, jehož úkolem bylo zvýšit povědomí žáků o problematice ploché nohy a o tom, jak této deformitě předcházet.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the issues about impact of overweight and obesity older school-age children on their foot soles. In the theoretical part are explained the most important terms related to the topic. The experimental part includes the results of survey which determine the status of flat foot soles in school age children depending on overweight or obesity. There were used somatometric methods, which are determined in BMI of school age children by using methods of Chippaux-Šmiřák was detected by index of flat foot soles. The preventive program was created in the thesis, whose goal was inform the pupils about the issue of flat foot soles and how to prevent this most common deformity.
