Interactive activities supported with ICT in preschool education

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá interaktivními aktivitami s podporou informačních a komunikačních technologií v mateřských školách a celkově tématem digitální gramotnosti u předškolních dětí. Na začátku teoretické části popisuji předškolní vzdělávání, předškolní období a navazuji kapitolou, ve které se zabývám předškolními dětmi a ICT. Tato kapitola obsahuje především analýzu RVP PV z pohledu využití ICT. Zde je rozebírán rozvoj digitální kompetence a popis možností jak budovat digitální gramotnost u dětí předškolního věku. Následně je v teoretické části stručně popsáno několik ICT vyskytujících se v MŠ a podrobněji popsané vybrané dotykové panely, na které je tato bakalářská práce primárně zaměřena, jako na jeden druh ICT vyskytující se v MŠ, díky kterému mohou být v praxi využity interaktivní aktivity s podporou ICT a zároveň, díky kterým lze budovat digitální gramotnost dětí v předškolním věku. V závěru teoretické práce najdeme výběr softwaru, ve kterém je možno tvořit právě interaktivní aktivity na dotykové panely a následně zde najdeme software, který lze zakoupit a ve kterém je již připravena řada činností na dotykové panely. K praktické části byl zvolen kvalitativní výzkum nestrukturované pozorování. Pozorování probíhalo ve vybrané třídě Plzeňské MŠ. Práce s dotykovým panelem trvala dva týdny. Některé aktivity byly zvoleny během ranních her, jiné byly připraveny pro řízenou činnost. Na základě pozorování jsem v praktické části každou uskutečněnou aktivitu popsala. U každé aktivity najdeme popis a průběh, fotografii, hodnocení a vyhodnocení z hlediska návaznosti na RVP PV v kategorii dílčích vzdělávacích cílů a jejich konkrétní naplňování při dané činnosti. Aktivity jsou rozděleny na aktivity vytvořené v programu ActiveInspire, ty byly účelně vytvořeny pro tuto bakalářskou práci, a následně na aktivity z programu Aktivní školička - Barevné kamínky. V závěru praktické části jsou sepsány výsledky výzkumného šetření, zhodnocení programu a také je zde sepsáno několik informací, které byly získány na základě praxe a mohou být využity pro další práci s takovýmto zařízením. Nejdůležitějším cílem této bakalářské práce bylo otestovat modelové aktivity na dotykovém panelu v MŠ a získat informace o možnostech využívání takového zařízení, o jeho plusech a mínusech, vhodnosti a celkově vypozorovat a sepsat informace pro další možné pracování s tímto zařízením v MŠ.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with interactive activities with the support of the ICT at nursery schools. Furthermore, it reflects the topic of the digital literacy of the pre-school children. In the beginning of the theoretical part, I describe pre-school period and education. Secondly I continue with the chapter focused on pre-school children and ICT. This chapter contains mainly analysis of Framework Educational Programme for pre-school education from the point of view of utilising ICT. Also, there is mentioned development of the digital competence and the description of the possibilities how to develop digital literacy of the pre-school children. The next part of the theoretical contain describes some ICT occurrences at nursery schools. It focuses on one particular kind of ICT: the touchable boards, because those are the main focus of the whole thesis. They are also suitable for interactive activities with the ICT support and above all, they can provide digital literacy development of the pre-school children. In the conclusion of the theoretical part you can find a variety of software which we can use for preparing interactive activities on the touchable boards or a buyable software with the ready-to-use activities. In the practical part of the thesis, there is a quantitative research of the unstructured observation. The observation itself took place in one chosen class of the Pilsen nursery school. The work with the touchable board took two weeks. Some activities were chosen during the morning games, others were prepared for direct actions. Based on the observation, I described each activity and its process. There are also photography, evaluation and the results according to Educational Programme for pre-school education in the categories of educational aims and their concrete performing during each activity. The activities are divided into those created in the Activelnspire programme, those were created on purpose of the thesis, and the activities created with Aktivní školička programme: Colourful stones. In the result of the practical part, there are the outcomes of the research, evaluation of the programme and some information, which were gained during the practical work and them can be beneficial for further work with the devices. The most important aim of this thesis was to test model activities on the touchable board at nursery school and to gain more knowledge about possibilities of the mentioned device, its advantages and disadvantages, its suitability and in general to observe and write up the information for further work with the device at nursery schools.
