Competency model for social workers

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce na téma Kompetenční model pro sociální pracovníky se skládá ze dvou části - části teoretické a části empirické. Cílem teoretické části je poskytnout co možná nejkomplexnější pohled na danou problematiku a následně tyto poznatky využít v empirické části práce. Teoretická část se skládá ze čtyř kapitol. První je zaměřena na oblast sociální práce, druhá na problematiku kompetencí, třetí na kompetenční modely a čtvrtá se věnuje specifikám kompetenčních modelů v sociální práci. Cílem empirické části je zjistit, které kompetence jsou považovány za klíčové pro výkon pracovní pozice sociálního pracovníka a vytvořit specifické kompetenční modely pro pozici sociálního pracovníka v jednotlivých zkoumaných organizacích. Empirická část se skládá také ze čtyř kapitol. První se zaměřuje na definování cílů a výzkumných otázek, druhá na způsob zkoumání, třetí na realizaci výzkumu a čtvrtá na analýzu a interpretaci výsledků.

Abstract:

This thesis Model of competence for social workers is composed of two parts - the theoretical and the empirical. The theoretical part should be provides the most complete possible view on the topic and then I will use this knowledge in the empirical part. The theoretical part consists of four chapters. The first is focused on the issues of social work, the second on the issues of competencies, the third on competency models and the fourth deals with the specifics of competency models in social work. The aim of the empirical section is to identify which competencies are considered essential for professional social workers and create a specific competency models for the position of social worker in each examined organizations. The empirical part consists of four chapters as well. The first focuses on defining the objectives and research questions, the second on the way to examining, the third on implementation of research and the fourth analysis and interpretation of results.
