Physical activity as a part of children´s and youth´s lifestyle in selected classes at elementary school in Chabařovice.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na charakterizování pohybové aktivity vybrané skupiny žáků Základní škole Chabařovice. Cílem práce je přispět ke zmapování problematiky výskytu a provozování pohybových aktivit žáků základních škol. Struktura práce je tradiční. Kapitoly s teoretickými částmi se zaměřují na vymezení základních pojmů vztahujících se k tématu práce. Úvodní kapitola empirické části popisuje využitou metodiku a charakterizuje zkoumaný soubor. Následující kapitoly zkoumají pomocí pedometrů a krátkého dotazníkového šetření objem pohybové aktivity a inaktivity. Výsledky jsou analyzovány a prezentovány formou tabulek a grafů. Součástí diskuze jsou náměty, jak zvýšit pohybovou aktivitu žáků. Závěrem shrnujeme získané poznatky.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on characterizing physical activities of a selected group of pupils of the elementary school in Chabařovice. The aim of the thesis is to contribute to mapping issues of primary school pupils´ physical activities. The structure of the thesis is traditional. Theoretical chapters focus on definition of basic terms relating to the theme of the thesis. The introductory chapter of the empirical part describes methodology that has been used and characterizes the the studied group. The following chapters deal with an amount of physical activities using pedometers and short questionnaires. The results are analysed and presented in tables and charts. Suggestions how to increase an amount of physical activities of students are also part of the discussion. In conclusion we summarize the results we´ve acquired.
