A Child with Special Educational Needs in Substitute Family Care

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou náhradní rodinné péče u dětí se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami. Konkrétně je zaměřena na zkušenosti pěstounů dětí se zdravotním postižením. Teoretická část této práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První z nich je věnována problematice dětí se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami. Druhá kapitola pojednává o náhradní rodinné péči a legislativním vymezení tohoto tématu. Ve třetí kapitole nalezneme specifika problematiky náhradní rodinné péče u dětí se zdravotním postižením. Na teoretickou část navazuje část praktická, kde je popsáno výzkumné šetření, jehož cílem bylo analyzovat zkušenosti pěstounů, kteří mají v pěstounské péči dítě se zdravotním postižením. K získání výzkumných dat byly použity kvalitativní i kvantitativní metody, konkrétně rozhovory a dotazníkové šetření. Výsledky výzkumného šetření jsou v závěru práce analyzovány a porovnány.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis addresses the topic of substitute family care for children with special educational needs, focusing specifically on the experience of foster parents of children with disabilities. The theoretical part of this thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter delves into the issue of children with special educational needs. The second chapter examines the definition of substitute family care and its legislative framework. The third chapter explores the specific challenges and considerations related to substitute family care for children with disabilities. Following the theoretical framework, the practical part of the thesis describes a research study aimed at analyzing the experience of foster parents caring for children with disabilities. Both qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews and questionnaire surveys, were utilized to collect research data. The thesis concludes with an analysis and comparison of the research findings.
