Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem diplomové práce bylo zjistit naplňování standardu, který se týká vyšetřování potřeb pacientů v terminálním stavu a jejich blízkých. Dílčí cíle byly zaměřeny ke zjištění rozdílů v hodnocení pacienta a jeho blízkých zdravotnickými pracovníky v souvislosti s jejich profesí, délkou zdravotnické praxe či jejich pracovištěm. Dalším dílčím cílem bylo zhodnocení kvality paliativní péče ve zdravotnickém zařízení z pohledu zdravotníků. Metodika: Pro sběr dat bylo zvolen kvantitativní šetření. Data byla získávána strukturovaným rozhovorem a byla písmeně zaznamenávána do předem připraveného záznamového archu. Výzkumný vzorek tvořilo 78 respondentů, z toho bylo 36 lékařů a 42 sester ze 14 pracovišť vybraného zdravotnického zařízení. Výzkumné šetření probíhalo od 15. 1. - 31. 12. 2018. Výsledky: Z rozhovorů bylo zjištěno, že respondenti hodnotí pacienta v terminálním stavu a jeho blízké holistickým způsobem, ale zjištěné informace nezaznamenávají. Dále bylo zjištěno, že není rozdíl v hodnocení pacienta a jeho blízkých dle profese respondentů, dle délky jejich zdravotnické praxe či v souvislosti s jejich pracovištěm. Z hlediska pracovního místa respondentů nebyl zjištěn rozdíl ve vnímání kvality poskytované paliativní péče ve vybraném nemocničním zařízení. Závěr: Závěrem můžeme říct, že respondenti vnímají pacienta holisticky a že je pacient posuzován jako bio-psycho-socio-spirituální jednotka včetně jeho blízkých. Zjištěné informace však nejsou dokumentovány písemnou formou.

Abstract:

Aim: The aim of the thesis was to determine the fulfilment of the standard, which concerns the investigation of the needs of patients in terminal state and their loved ones. The sub-objectives were aimed at identifying differences in the evaluation of the patient and his close healthcare professional relation to their job title, the length of medical practice or their workplace. Another partial goal was to evaluate the quality of palliative care in a medical institution from the perspective of health professionals. Methodology: A quantitative survey has been selected for data collection. The data was obtained by a structured conversation and recorded in a pre-prepared recording sheet. The research sample consisted of 78 respondents, including 36 doctors and 42 nurses from 14 workplaces of the selected medical facility. The research investigation took place from 15. 1. - 31. 12. 2018. Results: From interviews respondents were found to evaluate a patient in a terminal state and his loved ones in a holistic manner, but did not record the information found. Furthermore, it was found that there is no difference in the evaluation of the patient and his loved ones according to the profession of the respondents, according to the length of their medical practice or in connection with their workplace. From the point of view of the respondents' work, there was no difference in the perception of the quality of palliative care provided in the selected hospital. Conclusion: In conclusion, respondents perceive the patient holistically and that the patient is considered a bio-psycho-socio-spiritual unit, including his loved ones. However, the information found is not documented in writing.
