The use of nootropics by college students

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou užívání tzv. chytrých drog studenty vysokých škol (19 – 26let). Teoretická část je rozdělena na čtyři části. První se zaměřuje na farmakologii, na specifikaci látek, které mohou být nazývány chytrými drogami, jejich historií, začleněním, dělením a účinky. Druhá se zabývá psychostimulancii a jejich účinky. Třetí část vymezuje problematiku chytrých drog. Zaměřuje se tedy na výklad dané problematiky v souvislosti s využitím a přínosem v lékařství a současně i jejich zneužíváním v rámci naší společnosti. Čtvrtá část nabízí alternativu za chytré drogy. Praktická část se dělí na výzkumné šetření a celkové vymezení výzkumného závěru. Ve výzkumném šetření se tato práce zaměřuje na jednotlivé cíle, tedy cílovou skupinu, její specifikaci, charakteristiku a zdůvodnění výběru. Metodologií je komparativní dotazníkové šetření, včetně stanovení hypotéz. Následuje vyhodnocení výzkumného šetření ve formě grafů a komentářů. Závěr práce obsahuje celkové zhodnocení výzkumu, prezentaci jednotlivých zjištění a rekapitulaci výsledků.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis analyzes the issue of the use of smart drugs by college students (aged 19 – 26). The theoretical part is divided into four sections. The first one focuses on pharmacology, on the list of specific substances that can qualify as smart drugs, on their history, classifications, subdivisions, and their effects. The second part focuses on psychostimulants and their effects. The third part talks about the issue of smart drugs with respect to their use in medicine and also their abuse within our society. The fourth part describes alternatives to smart drugs. The practical part is divided into analytical research and a general conclusion from the research. In the analytical research part, this thesis focuses on the target group, its specifications, characteristics and the reason for choosing this target group. For methodology, a comparative poll research is used with a defined hypothesis, followed by an evaluation of the analytical research in the form of graphs and explanations. The end of the thesis shows a general conclusion from the research, presentation of findings and the results summary.
