Colocation of the artistic and the literature component in work of Petr Sis by an example of his author's book Tibet

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce zkoumá propojování výtvarné a literární složky v díle Petra Síse na příkladu analýzy jeho autorské knihy Tibet. Práce se v úvodní části zaměřuje na vymezení vzájemných vztahů slovesné a obrazové složky v knize a její ilustraci, ve vztahu k obrázkové knize a její definici. V další části přibližuje současnou podobu české obrázkové knihy pro děti a mládež. Obrázkovou knihu poté sleduje z pohledu její umělecké kvality a z pohledu propojování slovesné a obrazové složky. Autorská knižní tvorba Petra Síse představuje jádro práce. Zde je prezentována umělecká osobnost a tvůrčí profil Petra Síse včetně charakteristiky jeho obrázkových knih. Následuje příkladová analýza Sísovy autorské obrázkové knihy Tibet s podtitulem Tajemství červené krabičky. V doprovodu bohaté obrazové přílohy, interpretuje Sísovu poetiku práce na daném příkladu včetně analýzy příběhu a propojování výtvarné a literární složky jeho díla. V následující části jsou prezentována další umělecká ztvárnění tohoto díla. Závěr práce poté předkládá možné recepce a reflexe Sísovy autorské práce v kontextu současné české obrázkové knihy pro děti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis expolore the colocation of the artistic and the literature component in work of Petr Sís, based on an analysis of his book Tibet. The paper focuses on definition of the mutual relationship of verbal and figural part of the book and its illustration in relationship to a picture book and its the definition. In the next part the current form of czech picture book for children and adolescents is analysed. Artistic quality and the combination of the artistic and the literature component of the picture book is then observed. Book authorship of Petr Sís represents the core of this paper. The artists personality and artistic profile of Petr Sís is introduced, including the characteristic of his picture books. Next a representative analysis of Síses picture book Tibet with subtitle Trough The Red Box. Accompanied with many illustrations, Síses poetry of work in the given example is presented including the analysis of the story, linking the artistic and literature component of his work. Next part presents other possible adaptations of the original Síses story are. Final part of this paper then present possible reception and reflection of Síses work, in context of current czech children picture book production.
