The project of transformation of the financial statements of XY, Ltd. on the financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium-sized Entities

Abstract:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na problematiku Mezinárodních standardů účetního výkaznictví pro malé a střední podniky. V první (teoretické) části je uvedena literární rešerše, která má nastínit tuto problematiku z teoretického pohledu. Zabývá se harmonizací účetnictví, popisem tohoto standardu a jeho srovnáním s Českými účetními předpisy. V druhé (praktické) části jsou tyto poznatky uplatněny na konkrétním podniku. Nejprve se zaměřím na položky výkazů, které budou při převodu výkazů změněny. Poté provedu transformaci účetních výkazů na účetní výkazy podle mezinárodního standardu účetního výkaznictví pro malé a střední podniky. V závěru je provedena finanční analýza, která srovnává finanční situaci podle Českých účetních předpisů a podle Mezinárodních standardů účetního výkaznictví pro malé a střední podniky.

Abstract:

This thesis is aimed at the problematic of International Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium-sized entities. The first (theoretical) part is stated with the literature search which is meant to outline the problematic from the theoretical point of view. It deals with the harmonization of accounting, the description of this standard and its comparison with the Czech accounting standards. In the second (practical) part is the knowledge gained used on the specific company. I will focus on each item of financial statements to find, which items have to be changed. Then I will do the project of transformation of financial statements according to standard for small and medium-sized entities. In the end the financial analysis has been done to comparison of financial position according to Czech accounting standards and International financial reporting standards for small and medium-sized entities.
