Dopady krizového období na výkonnost podniků v sektoru výroby pryžových a plastových výrobků

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je identifikovat dopady krizového období za roky 2018-2021 a stanovit výkonnost podniků v sektoru výroby pryžových a plastových výrobků. Jsou využity absolutní a poměrové ukazatele, bankrotní a bonitní metody a vyčíslena je hodnota ekonomické přidané hodnoty, a to ve dvou variantách – EVA Equity a EVA Entity. V celé kvalifikační práci je problematika úzce specifikována na odvětví plastových a pryžových výroků, konkrétně se jedná o produkty typu lahviček. V práci je využito několik kvalitativních i kvantitativních metod pro sběr potřebných dat i k analýze. Díky těmto využitým metodám dochází ke zjištění, jaká krize byla pro podniky nejvíce riziková a dotýká se jejich podnikatelského plánu nejen z hlediska výroby, ale i po finanční stránce. Dále je v práci věnován prostor pro identifikaci financování před krizemi a během krizí. V neposlední řadě je také měřen potenciální vliv krize související s pandemií COVID-19 na chod vybraného odvětví. Data o finančním zdravý se zde poměrně liší s tím, že podnik někdy vykazuje bonita, ale někdy je naopak v bankrotním stavu. Nicméně pandemie COVID-19 nemá nijak zásadní vliv na finanční zdraví v podniku. Začínající podnikatelé či podniky, které se ještě s krizí nesetkali, mohou přínos této práce využít ve svůj prospěch, pokud hledají důležité informace, rady a postupy, jak se právě v takovýchto situacích zachovat. Přínos této práce je i pro studenty, kteří se o krize a krizová období ve vztahu k podnikům zajímají. Práce by mohla být rozšířena o více dat a informací, které se zaměřují na nefinanční stránku podniku.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to identify the effects of the crisis period for the years 2018-2021 and to determine the performance of companies in the rubber and plastic products manufacturing sector. Absolute and ratio indicators, bankruptcy and creditworthiness methods are used and the economic value added is quantified in two variants - EVA Equity and EVA Entity. Throughout the qualifying work, the issue is narrowly specified to the plastic and rubber statement industry, specifically bottle type products. The thesis uses several qualitative and quantitative methods to collect the necessary data and for analysis. Through these methods used, it is determined which crisis was the most risky for the companies and affects their business plan not only in terms of production but also financially. Furthermore, space is given in the paper to identify financing before and during crises. Last but not least, the potential impact of the crisis related to the COVID-19 pandemic on the operation of the selected industry is also measured. The data on financial soundness is quite different here with the enterprise sometimes showing creditworthiness but sometimes being in a bankrupt state. However, the COVID-19 pandemic does not have any major impact on the financial health of the enterprise. Budding entrepreneurs or businesses that have not yet encountered a crisis can use the contribution of this paper to their advantage if they are looking for important information, advice and practices on how to handle just such situations. Students who are interested in crises and crisis periods in relation to businesses will also benefit from this work. The thesis could be extended to include more data and information that focuses on the non-financial side of the business.
