Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se věnuje české menšině v USA, od jejího příchodu, usazování až po běžný život v nové domovině.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis is dealing with Czech minority in USA at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. There is described in general the migration from Czech country to the new homeland. From the reasons which led the concerned individuals to abandon their fatherland, all the way to the migration processes on Ellis island. I deal with the places with highest Czech colonization.
