Phenomen of dancing groups. Analysis and interpretation of group leader's live experience

Abstract:

Předkládaná práce představuje fenomén tanečních souborů. Cílem práce je zachytit a zprostředkovat esenci prožitku v tanci pohledem vedoucích těchto skupin. Práce se zaměřuje na introspekci prožité zkušenosti s rolí vedoucího v tanečním souboru a přenos tanečních prožitků v rámci konstrukce celoživotního vztahu k taneční aktivitě. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na představení fenoménu tanečních souborů. Postihuje ukotvení tanečního folkloru v pedagogice volného času, vymezuje rovněž psychosociální koncept prožitku v tanci, stejně jako determinanty ovlivňující žitou zkušenost vedoucích. Empirická část předkládané práce se opírá o kvalitativní výzkumný design. Výchozím výzkumným nástrojem se stala data získaná formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s vedoucími souborů, která byla analyzována výzkumnou metodou IPA. Její výstupy jsou prezentovány souborem společných témat. Při sběru dat byla využita podpůrná technika, kterou jsme označili jako metodu „oživené fotografie.“ Vybraní informanti ve svých úvahách a naracích vypovídají o zkušenostech, nejhlubších niterných prožitcích, formulují události, jevy spojené s činností v tanečním souboru, které pro ně v jejich životech měly signifikantní důležitost a od nichž se odvíjelo jejich další životní směřování. V závěru práce jsou prezentovány vzájemně se prolínající aspekty, které provázejí taneční činnost dokládající hodnotu, jakou účastníci výzkumu přisuzují objektům nebo událostem pojícím se s tancem a z nich plynoucích zkušenostem. Dopad a přesah provedeného výzkumu do oboru pedagogika leží v rozkrytí pedagogického a psychologického kontextu zkoumaného fenoménu. Výzkumná zjištění umožní využití postupů sociální práce vedoucího se skupinou při zvládání náročných situací provázejících interakční procesy.

Abstract:

Participation in dance ensembles is one of the most attractive and widely-popular leisure activities. This thesis introduces the concept of folklore dance groups as a phenomenon and will discuss the important role these groups play in the lives of their members. The paper aims to identify the depth and impact of this activity to overall lifestyle, and it tries to answer the question of what people experience in dance or other activities related to these dance groups and what the subjective experiences of members are when they attribute importance and meaning to folklore dance. Selected interviewees comment on their considerations and narrations about the deep experiences associated with dance, explain events and phenomena associated with the activities set in a dance, which for them had a significant importance in their lives and made an impact in their future lifestyle. The basic research tool is a phenomenological study conducted through semi-structured interviews with the heads of the dance groups and their subsequent analysis. This method is supported by a methodological basis platform that we have identified as a method of “animated photographs.” By utilizing this research tool, we were able to obtain deep and meaningful data about the importance of participation in dance groups. The statements were obtained through interviews and narratives of the participants. This work aims to explore how people perceive and understand certain significant events in their lives related to activities in their dance groups. We strive to find the value attributed to these experiences. Also, we aim to point out how participation in dance groups and leisure time activities in general contribute to the development of positive self-image and how they help to formulate relationships between people and develop a person’s personality.
