Poverty and earning insufficiency by long time unemployed people in Otrokovice

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje chudobě a příjmové nedostatečnosti u dlouhodobě nezaměstnaných obyvatel Otrokovic. Teoretická část poskytuje přehled o příjmové nedostatečnosti, o hmotné nouzi, o chudobě a jejich konceptech, o příčinách vzniku. Z kategorie osob ohrožených chudobou se práce zaměřuje zejména na dlouhodobě nezaměstnané osoby, na důsledky dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti a na skupinu osob, kterou nejvíce ohrožuje. Významným tématem této práce jsou způsoby řešení chudoby, ať už preventivního charakteru či řešení již existující chudoby. Charakteristika Zlínského kraje a města Otrokovice dle vybraných ukazatelů slouží k poskytnutí přehledu, k porovnání odlišností situace v daném regionu a České republice. Výzkumná část vychází z dotazníkového šetření a má za úkol odpovědět na otázky týkající se hodnocení příjmové situace dlouhodobě nezaměstnaných osob, zjistit jaké typy dávek tyto osoby pobírají, zda existují rozdíly ve schopnosti hradit své závazky, ve vybavenosti domácnosti dlouhodobě nezaměstnaných vzhledem k délce jejich nezaměstnanosti, věku a druhu domácnosti. Z analýzy odpovědí respondentů vyplynulo, že dlouhodobá nezaměstnanost ovlivňuje schopnost hradit své závazky. Rovněž bylo prokázáno, že s rostoucí dobou evidence uchazečů o zaměstnaní se lidé cítí být chudší a nemohou si pořídit co by si přáli. Dotazovaní uváděli, že se cítí být chudými, ale vzhledem k vybavenosti jednotlivých domácnosti se tato skutečnost nepotvrdila.

Abstract:

This thesis pays attention to the poverty and earning insufficiency by long ? term uemployed people in Otrokovice. The theoretical part provides a survey of earning insufficiency, material stress, poverty and their types and reasons of the rise. From the categories of persons, who are in danger of poverty, the thesis is addressed especially to the long - term unemployed people, to the consequences of the long - term unemployment and to the group of people mostly in danger of the unemployment. Significant topic of this work are the ways of solving poverty, which already existing or doing the preventative steps. The description of the Zlínský region and the town Otrokovice, according to the selected characteristics, is showing the differences situation in a given region comparison with the whole Czech republic and what have the development trends been recently. The research results from the question blanks and has one task to make answers regarding the classification of the income situation by the long - term unemployed people, to find out which the types of social security benefits these peple receive, whether exist differences in their financial solvency, in the equipment of their houses associated související s with a duration časová of their unemployment, age and members of their family. From the analysed answers of the respondents resulted that the long ? term unemployment affects ovlivňovat the financial solvency of the respondents. The study proved that the increasing duration of the unemployment, the more respondents felt to be poorer and poorer and could not buy what they wished as well. It was mentioned by the inquired respondents that they are feeling poor, but with regard to the equipment of their houses, this fact was uncofirmed.
