Non-profit organizations and their contribution to integration into society and active leisure activities for families with children with intellectual disabilities

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část diplomové práce se zabývá charakteristikou mentálního postižení a dalšími postiženími, která se pojí s mentálním postižením, jako je dětský autismus, Rettův syndrom a dětská mozková obrna. Dále se teoretická část práce zabývá rodinou s dítětem s mentálním postižením, volným časem a aktivitami ve volném čase. Poslední kapitolu tvoří téma neziskové organizace. Praktická část diplomové práce se zaměřuje na charakteristiku činnosti neziskové organizace Občanského sdružení rodičů a přátel dětí s handicapem ORION. Dále práce uvádí dotazníkové šetření zaměřené na volný čas rodin s dítětem s mentálním postižením a využívání aktivit neziskových organizací. Dotazníkové šetření je doplněno případovou studií čtyř rodin s dítětem s mentálním postižením a jejich využití volného času.

Abstract:

The Diploma Dissertation is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical parts of the Diploma Dissertation deals with the charakteristics of mental retardation and other disabilities, which is associated with mental retardation such as chilhood autismu, Rett syndrome and cerebral palsy. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the family of a child with mental disabilities, leisure time and leisure. The last chapter compromises of the non-profit organization. Practical parts focuses on non-profit organizations activities charkteristic of the Civic Association of parents and friends of children with disabilities ORION. Further work indicates questionnaire aimed at leisure families with a child with mental retardation and exploitation activities of non-profit organizations. The survey is completed by case studies of four families with a child with intellectual disabilities and their leisure time.
