Designing a suitable strategy of company Trek with the use of strategic analysis

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je navrhnout vhodnou strategii společnosti Trek ve střednědobém horizontu 3 let, a to na základě poznatků ze strategické analýzy vnějšího a vnitřního prostředí společnosti. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část bude obsahovat zejména přehled teoretických konceptů, jejich kritiky a metod strategické analýzy vnějšího a vnitřního prostředí. Teoretická část bakalářské práce poskytne teoretická východiska v podobě metodického aparátu – formulace poslání, vize a strategických cílů, PESTLE analýza, Porterův model pěti sil, VRIO analýza, portfolio analýza pomocí GE/McKinsey matice, finanční analýza a návrh strategie na základě SWOT analýzy. Výsledkem praktické části bude návrh jedné ze čtyř strategií odvoditelných z kombinace silných a slabých stránek, příležitostí a hrozeb (TOWS matice), která by mohla vést k naplnění definovaných strategických cílů společnosti Trek.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose a suitable strategy of Trek in the medium term of 3 years based on the knowledge of the strategic analysis of the external and internal environment of the company. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part will include in particular an overview of theoretical concepts, their critique and methods of strategic analysis of the external and internal environment. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis will provide the theoretical basis in the form of methodical apparatus - formulation of mission, vision and strategic goals, PESTLE analysis, Porter model of five forces, VRIO analysis, portfolio analysis using GE / McKinsey matrix, financial analysis and SWOT analysis. The practical part will result in the design of one of the four strategies deductible from a combination of strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats (TOWS matrix) that could lead to meeting the defined strategic goals of Trek.
