Negative and positive effect of information technology on young people

Abstract:

Anotace Diplomová práce se zabývá pozitivními a škodlivými vlivy současných médií a informačních technologií na dnešní mládež. Rozebírá postupně jednotlivá média a informační technologie od jejich vzniku až po současnost a jejich vliv na mládež. Snaží se též popsat vztah nových komunikačních prostředků ke společnosti.Diplomová práce obsahuje též praktickou část, kde využívá poznatků získaných na školách z dotazníků určených mládeži, z dat poskytovaných Českým statistickým úřadem a z vlastního průzkumu prováděném na komunikačních serverech a na internetu.

Abstract:

ABSTRACT This thesis deals with the positive and harmful effects of the current media and information technology in today's youth. Gradually examines different types of media and information technologies from their inception to the present and their impact on youth. It also seeks to describe the relationship between new communication tools and society. Master's Thesis also contains a practical component, which uses knowledge gained from the questionnaires in schools for youngsters, from data provided by the Czech Statistical Office, and conducted its own survey of communications servers and the Internet.
