Abstract:

Jako učitel Informatiky na základní škole jsem se setkal s nedostatkem výukových materiálů v oblasti výuky vektorového grafického editoru Inkscape, což mě vedlo k vytvoření výukových materiálů sestávajících z krátkých textů doplněných o obrázky a krátké videosekvence. Tyto materiály jsem následně ověřil v pátých ročnících ve dvou po sobě jdoucích školních rocích. Rozdíly v úrovni kresby nepřičítám práci s vytvořenýmy materiály nýbrž rozdílné úrovní vyspělosti žáků. Došel jsem však také k závěru, že tyto materiály žákům umožňují pracovat samostatněji a vlastním tempem, což učiteli umožňuje věnovat více času individuálnímu přístupu k jednotlivým žákům a zlepšit tak výsledky těch, kteří bez osobního dohledu pracují pomaleji.

Abstract:

As a teacher of Informatics I have been facing the lack of suitable learning materials when teaching how to use the vector graphics editor Inkscape. Such fact lead me to the creation of materials in a form of short and concise texts, supplemented by a large number of explanatory images and videos. The created materials were tested during the school year 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 in the fifth grade elementary school classes. I came to the conclusion that the use of the mentioned materials improved my students? learning experience rather than contributed directly to a higher level of their drawing skill. Students using the materials can work at their own pace, they seem to work more independently with less need of the teacher?s or the tutor?s help. Students learning on their own allows me to spend more time on working with students individually which results in a better outcome even for those students who would normally learn less effectively without being under a frequent teacher?s supervision.
