The development of the communication abilities of pupils with autism spectrum disorderes

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce analyzuje možnosti rozvoje komunikačních schopností a dovedností u žáků s poruchou autistického spektra, prostřednictvím Výměnného obrazového komunikačního systému a specifických výukových metod. Obsah práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První dvě kapitoly jsou teoretické, vymezují specifika autismu a poruch autistického spektra. Poukazují na narušenou komunikační schopnost u osob s PAS a uvádí dostupné komunikačních metody, které jsou nezbytnou součástí nácviku funkční komunikace. Ve třetí, empirické části je zpracován výzkumný projekt, který se skládá z kazuistik dvou žáků a informací získaných z aktivního pozorování žáků při jednotlivých modelových situací. Cílem výzkumného šetření je pomocí modelových situací zjistit, do jaké míry napomáhají specifické komunikační prostředky k rozvoji komunikačních schopností u osob s PAS.

Abstract:

The bachelor’s thesis analyses the possibilities of the development of communication abilities and skills of pupils with autism spectrum disorders by means of the Exchange pictorial communication system and the specific teaching methods. The content of the thesis is divided into three chapters. First two chapters are theoretical, they define specifics of autism and autism spectrum disorders. They point out the communication ability disorder of people with PAS and present available communication methods, which are the essential part of the functional communication practice. In the third, empirical part, the research project is elaborated. The project consists of the case interpretation of the two pupils and the information gained from active observation of the pupils during particular model situations. The aim of the research is, with the help of model situations, to find out to what extent the specific communication devices help to develop communication abilities of the people with PAS.
