Forms and ways of communication of social worker in rest homes.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá formami a možnostmi komunikace se seniory žijících v domovech pro seniory. Skládá se z teoretické a praktické části. V teoretické části práce jsou na základě poznatků z odborné literatury vymezeny pojmy jako mezilidská komunikace,intrapersonální, interpersonální, verbální a neverbální forma komunikace. Dále se zabývá problematikou komunikace se seniory se zdravotním postižením. Poté následuje vymezení pojmu stáří, demence a pracovní kategorie Pracovník v sociálních službách. Praktická část zahrnuje deskriptivní kvantitativní výzkum, který byl prováděn v Královéhradeckém kraji. Jeho cílem bylo zjistit, jaké vědomosti mají pracovníci v sociálních službách v oblasti komunikace, jak je využívají v praxi a zda se dále vzdělávají. Z realizovaného výzkumného šetření lze vysledovat informace o verbální, neverbální komunikaci, bazální stimulaci, validaci, augmentativních a alternativních metodách komunikace.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the forms and possibilities of communication with the elderly who live in homes for the elderly. It consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is based on findings of terms such as interpersonal communication, intrapersonal, an interpersonal, verbal and nonverbal form of communication. It also deals with issues of communication with seniors with disabilities. There is also the definition of the old age, dementia and working class of workers in social services. The practical part includes a descriptive quantitative research which was carried out in the region of Hradec Králové. Its aim was to determine what knowledge the workers in social services have in the field of communication, how they use this knowledge in real life and whether they are further educated. The information about verbal, nonverbal communication, basal stimulation, validation, augmentative and alternative communication methods can be tracen from the research.
