Primary Prevention at Elementary School and the Activities of a Social Pedagogue

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá primární prevencí na základních školách, klíčovou rolí a činnostmi sociálního pedagoga. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Cílem teoretické části je definovat a vysvětlit pojmy týkající se primární prevence ve vztahu se sociálním pedagogem a poukázat na rozdílnost názorů různých autorů. Cílem praktické části je zjistit, jaké zkušenosti mají sociální pedagogové na základních školách při aktivitách primární prevence a s kým a jak na těchto aktivitách spolupracují. Cíl byl zjišťován pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu, metodou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru se sociálními pedagogy pracujícími na základních školách. Výsledky této práce pomohou rozšířit povědomí o sociálním pedagogovi a jeho náplni práce.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis examines primary prevention in elementary schools, focusing on the key role and activities of the social pedagogue. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The aim of the theoretical part is to define and explain concepts related to primary prevention in relation to the social pedagogue and to highlight the differences in views among various authors. The aim of the practical part is to explore the experiences of social pedagogues in elementary schools during primary prevention activities and how they collaborate with others in these activities. This goal was pursued through qualitative research using the method of semi-structured interviews with social pedagogues working in elementary schools. The results of this thesis will help raise awareness about the social pedagogue and their job scope.
