The development of the reading literacy of pupils on primary schools by the text with children´s hero

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na rozvoj čtenářské gramotnosti u žáků 1. stupně základní školy prostřednictvím literatury s dětským hrdinou v čele. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V první kapitole teoretické části se zabývám pojmem čtenářská gramotnost, jejímu vymezení, začlenění a dělení. První kapitolu uzavírá rámcový vzdělávací program se zaměřením na klíčové kompetence a oblast Jazyk a jazyková komunikace. Druhá kapitola je věnována čtenáři, faktorům, které působí na jeho rozvoj, čtenářským dovednostem, strategiím a hodnocení žáků. Větší část věnuji metodám výuky, které rozvíjejí čtenářskou gramotnost, kde se blíže zabývám metodou projektové výuky, kterou užívám v mnou realizovaných blocích v praktické části této diplomové práce. Dále věnuji pozornost mezinárodním výzkumům PIRLS a PISA. Závěr této kapitoly patří vývoji čtenáře v dnešní době. V poslední kapitole teoretické části uvádím přehled mnou vybraných děl, kde vystupuje dětský hrdina, které porovnávám dle různých hledisek. Dále se zaměřuji na vývoj této literatury napříč dobou a žánry. Praktickou část své diplomové práce věnuji tvorbě metodických listů s užitím metod, které jsou vhodné pro rozvoj čtenářské gramotnosti a porozumění textu. Tyto metodické listy zavádím do praxe a sleduji především účelnost užitých metod a forem. Vedlejší šetření je zacíleno na rozvoj sebehodnocení žáků a můj profesní i osobnostní rozvoj během realizace.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the development of reading literacy among primary school pupils through literature with a child hero at the head. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first chapter of the theoretical part deals with the concept of reading literacy, its definition, inclusion and division. The first chapter is concluded by Framework Educational Program focusing on key competencies and the area of Language and Language Communication. The second chapter is devoted to the reader, factors influencing his / her development, reading skills, strategies and pupils' evaluation. The major part is devoted to teaching methods, which amplify reading literacy. There I dealt more closely with the method of project teaching, which I used in my blocks in the practical part of this thesis. Furthermore, I paid attention to the international research PIRLS and PISA. The conclusion of this chapter is devoted to the development of the reader nowadays. In the last chapter of the theoretical part I gave an overview of the works I selected, where a child hero performs, and I compared them according to different perspectives. Furthermore, I focused on the development of this literature across times and genres. The practical part of my thesis was devoted to the creation of methodological sheets using methods that are suitable for the development of reading literacy and reading comprehension. I put these methodological sheets into practice and observed mainly the effectiveness of the methods and forms used. The secondary research is focused on the development of pupils' self-esteem and my professional and personal development during implementation.
