Revitalization processes of the territory after mining in post-coal regions

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá socioekonomickými dopady v kontextu dekarbonizace a útlumu těžby uhlí ve spojitosti s rekultivovanými plochami a jejich gentrifikací. Cílem práce je analyzovat a zhodnotit dopady ukončení těžby uhlí na sociální transformaci. V návaznosti na toto téma byly vybrány dva příklady revitalizovaných ploch, a to jezero Most v okrese Most a jezero Milada v okrese Ústí nad Labem. Oblasti byly vybrány z důvodu jejich existence v těžbou postižených regionech. Pro socioekonomickou analýzu byla zvolena metoda komparace jednotlivých územních celků, a to okresů Most, Ústí nad Labem, Ústeckého kraje a České republiky. Data jsou interpretována za pomocí statistických metod. Součástí práce je dotazníkové šetření, jehož respondenty byli obyvatelé okresů Most a Ústí nad Labem. Za pomoci socioekonomické analýzy a dotazníkového šetření bylo dosaženo cíle práce.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis deals with socio-economic impacts in the context of decarbonisation and coal mining decline in connection with reclaimed areas and their gentrification. The aim of the thesis is to analyse and evaluate the impacts of coal mining closure on social transformation. Following this theme, two examples of revitalised areas were selected, namely Lake Most in the Most district and Lake Milada in the Ústí nad Labem district. The areas were chosen because they exist in mining-affected regions. For the socio-economic analysis, the method of comparison of individual territorial units was chosen, namely the districts of Most, Ústí nad Labem, the Ústí Region and the Czech Republic. The data are interpreted using statistical methods. The work includes a questionnaire survey, whose respondents were the inhabitants of the districts of Most and Ústí nad Labem. With the help of socio-economic analysis and questionnaire survey the aim of the thesis was achieved.
