Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá možností využití technik neurolingvistického programování (NLP) při práci s dospělými osobami s mentální retardací. Teoretická část definuje principy a popisuje vybrané techniky neurolingvistického programování. Zabývá se vymezením pojmu mentální retardace, klasifikací mentální retardace a způsoby práce s cílovou skupinou. Využívá poznatků psychopedické andragogiky. Praktická část je rozdělená do dvou tématických okruhů. Prvním je přímá práce s osobami s mentálním postižením pomocí technik NLP. V důsledku postižení je v různé míře narušena jejich schopnost komunikace, vnímání vlastní osoby i sociální dovednosti. Cílem této části výzkumu je hledání nejlepšího přístupu, se zavedením nových elementů a metod. Druhým okruhem je práce pomáhajícího profesionála na zlepšení kvality své práce pomocí technik NLP. Pomáhající profesionál ke své práci potřebuje nejen vzdělání, ale také celý rejstřík vlastností, schopností a dovedností. Tato část výzkumu se zabývá otázkou osobního rozvoje pomáhajícího profesionála.

Abstract:

The dissertation treats the possibility of using techniques of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) in working with adults with mental retardation. The theoretical part defines principles and describes chosen techniques of neuro-linguistic programming. It treats a determination of the term ?mental retardation?, a classification of mental retardation and ways of working with the target group. It profits from knowledge of psychopaedic andragogy. The practical part is divided to two thematic fields. The first one deals with a direct work with mentally handicapped persons by means of NLP´s techniques. As a consequence of their handicaps, their ability to communicate, their self-perception as well as social skills are distorted to various extents. The aim of this part of the research is finding the best approach, with adaptations of new elements and methods. The second field deals with a helping professional´s own effort to improve the quality of their own work by means of NLP´s techniques. A helping professional needs not only education to their work, but also a wide range of traits, skills and abilities. This part of the research treats the question of the helping professional´s personal development.
