The Elders Awareness of Advance Directives

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se skládá celkem ze tří kapitol, z toho dvě kapitoly jsou teoretické a jedna se zaměřuje na provedení praktického výzkumu. Tématem bakalářské práce je informovanost seniorů o dříve vysloveném přání. První teoretická kapitola se zaměřuje především na obecnou informovanost seniorů. V druhé kapitole najdeme teorii samotné problematiky dříve vyslovených přání. Pro provedení praktického výzkumu bylo použito kvantitativní metody, konkrétně dotazníkového šetření. Provedeným výzkumem bylo zjištěno, že klienti zařízení vybraného pro výzkum nejsou o problematice dříve vyslovených přání dostatečně informováni. Výzkum provedený v bakalářské práci je pilotním projektem, kdy vedení zařízení může pro rozšíření výzkumného tématu uskutečnit další průzkum v zařízení. Hlavním doporučením je pro klienty zajistit odborné přednášky či schůzky týkající se dříve vyslovených přání, které mohou vést k rozšíření povědomí o problematice.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis consists of a total of three chapters, of which two chapters are theoretical and one focuses on the implementation of practical research. The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the elders awareness of advance directives. The first theoretical chapter focuses mainly on the general awareness of elders. In the second chapter, we will find a theory of the very issue of advance directives. Quantitative methods were used to carry out the practical research, namely a questionnaire survey. The conducted research revealed that the clients of the facility selected for research are not sufficiently informed about the issue of advance directives. The research carried out in the bachelor's thesis is a pilot project, when the management of the facility can carry out further research in the facility to expand the research topic. The main recommendation is for clients to arrange professional lectures or meetings regarding advance directives, which can lead to an increase in awareness of the issue.
