Financial analysis of selected company

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnocení finanční situace společnosti JAF HOLZ spol. s r.o. Bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou částí, a to z části teoreticko-metodologické a části aplikační. V teoreticko-metodologické části je uveden význam finanční analýzy, její uživatelé, zdroje a metody výpočtu finanční analýzy. Tyto informace byly čerpány z odborné literatury. V úvodu aplikační části bakalářské práce je představena vybraná společnost JAF HOLZ spol. s r.o. Následuje ji aplikace teoretických poznatků na vybraný podnik. Nejprve je provedena horizontální a vertikální analýza rozvahy a výkazu zisku a ztráty, analýza rozdílovými ukazateli a analýza poměrovými ukazateli. V závěru je zpracována soustava ukazatelů, která je zaměřena na bankrotní modely. Všechny informace, které jsou nezbytné pro výpočet jednotlivých metod, jsou čerpány z účetních dokumentů zvolené společnosti. V závěru práce jsou zhodnoceny výsledky finanční analýzy a diskuze výsledků společně s návrhy opatření vedoucími ke zlepšení finanční situace podniku.

Abstract:

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of JAF HOLZ spol. s r.o. The bachelor thesis consists of two parts, first part is the theoretical-methodological and second part is application part. In the theoretical and methodological part, the importance of financial analysis, its users, sources and methods of financial analysis calculation are presented. This information was based on the professional literature. At the beginning of the application part of the bachelor thesis selected company JAF HOLZ spol. s r.o. is presented. After that follows the application of the theoretical knowledges to the selected business. First, a horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and the profit and loss statement and then the analysis of the difference indicators and the analysis of ratios are carried out. In the end a set of indicators is developed, that is focused on bankruptcy models. All the information that is necessary for the calculation of the individual methods is drawn from the accounting documents of the selected company. At the end of the thesis the results of the financial analysis and the discussion of the results to improve the financial situation of the company are evaluated.
